The theatres in Hong Kong alongside the theme park of Walt Disney Co.’s have closed again after coronavirus infections raised. The opening of cinemas in the mainland Chinese markets is yet to have clearance and is expected to open late July.
The new shutdown in the city comes after 41 people at the locality were tested positive on Monday leaving half of them untraced. Back on Monday night Hong Kong’s chief executive Carrie Lam arranged a press meet where he said that the locality will be following stringent social distancing procedures till date including limited public gatherings from only 4 to 50, restricting dining in eateries from 6 am to 5 pm and closing all bars, fitness centers, karaoke places, and theme parks.
The rules will be on effect from Wednesday.
It was said all through June Hong Kong remained nil with coronavirus for weeks. Yet they recorded 182 affected cases from July 6th with 54 of them untraced. Hong Kong has an approx of 1,521, positive cases, and 8 deaths due to COVID-19.
Further, the cinemas and theme parks were closed for weeks together than in other countries.
