The queen of golden era Sophia Loren was all glittery on the recent event held at Vienna for the European Culture Award. The 60’s star received her lifetime achievement award for her contribution from her son Carlo Ponti Jr’s hand.
The 85-year-old swept everyone’s feet with her long red dress with a criss-cross pattern in the chest and rounded off her look with a diamond and pearl stud with a matching neckpiece.
She was as graceful as she was garnered at the Capital of Austria. The legendary actress was ageless as she curled up her short brown hair that elevated her looks along with fake lashes and nude shade lips.
She was taken over to the stage by her son who lovingly kissed her cheek as he presented the award. She in return showed her love by kissing him as well and blew kisses to the crowd as well who applauded her with much delight.
The award came after the Italian star was shooting for her latest film after all these years. During the shoot, she was seen in a wheelchair with a floral skirt and red shawl which was assisted by a young man over there.
The film is named “La Vita Davanti” helmed by Sophia’s other son Edoardo Ponti which is adapted from the novel which has the same title.
