Fans can’t wait to watch Season 4 of “The hand maid’s Tale” post the nail-biting finale “May Day” of Season 3 of the same series last year. The entire Season 3 was about June Osborne’s (Elisabeth Moss) battle against the cruel and terrible Gilead.
The dystopian drama which is based on the novel written by Canadian author Margaret Atwood originally started in the year 2017 and the series was created by Bruce Miller.
He said “By helping all the children and Martha’s and Handmaids escape, she was trying to hurt Gilead. She’s punching back and she’s stubborn as f**k,”. “But she couldn’t set foot on that plane without her daughter, Hannah. This wasn’t about her saving herself, she’s in I am going to hurt Gilead mode.”
Meanwhile, it was perfect timing when Hulu officially announced that season 4 is set to release later this year. It hasn’t declared the exact date yet.
The number of viewers doubled in the second season for this grave and suspenseful TV series. Daniel Fienberg who is the reporter of The Hollywood said “probably the spring’s best new show” after seeing the first Season. The original cast of season 1 included Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel and many more.
Though there is no official news about the cast in Season4 there are speculations that it will be the same as in Season 3. But Amanda Brugel who was playing Rita will not continue in Season 4 as this was confirmed to Harper bazaar by the actress herself!
