Lucasfilm released The Mandalorian season three trailer on Monday night’s NFL playoff game. The unknown directors for the upcoming episodes were introduced.
The panel of directors includes Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison( Black Panther cinematographer), Lee Issac Chung( Minari filmmaker), Mandalorian actor Carl Weathers, Bryce Dallas Howard(returning Mando director), and Peter Ramsey(Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse).
The lead role of the title character is played by Pedro Pascal. He stars alongside Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow Katee Sackhoff, Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito.
The synopsis reads, ‘The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.’
The Mandalorian season one came out in November 2019 on Disney+ and season two came in by late 2020. Both seasons went swirling among Star Wars’ fans. The Mandalorian season 3 debuts on March 1.
Season 3 will be having the continued adventures of Baby Yoda-Grogu and the Mandalorian Din Djarin. In the trailer, we can see the duo traveling toward Mandalore to meet the other Mandalorians. The backup with Bo-Katan Kryze to deal with facing Moff Gideon.
