Shooting the new version of ‘The Batman’ in the British land has been stopped and it was confirmed by Warner Bros. on Thursday after several reports of Robert Pattinson testing positive for the virus.
Representatives from Warner Bros. stated that: “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols,” and “filming is temporarily paused.”
Though the production house did not reveal who was affected sources claimed that it was Robert.
But spokespersons from the studio or Pattinson have not responded to the statement. The film kick-started to shoot at the beginning of the year but then it was stopped in March due to the pandemic.
Further, it is said that Robert has been self-isolating himself in an apartment given by the studio.
Back in May when had a chat with GQ he stated that he is not working despite the request from his trainer to maintain the superhero body. “I almost immediately totally lost all sense of time,” he told the magazine of his quarantine experience.”
The photos from his interview had unique poses that trended the social media stating how Robert made pasta in a microwave prior to adding sugar and cornflakes.
As per sources, there are 3 more months of filming to finish the project and the film is said to hit the theatres only by next summer October 2021.
