Just-like other productions, Sony is also struggling to make schedules due to the corona pandemic crisis. This concludes that both the magnum opus spider-man movies will be postponed.
The next installment to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” will be pushed to October 7th, 2022 instead of April 8th, 2022. Whereas the 3rd series of Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy made along with Marvel Studios will be released by November 5th, 2021 instead of July 16th, 2021.
Besides yet another Spider-Man film “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” will hit the screens by June 25th, 2021 instead of October 2020.
To compensate this, Marvel Studios has delayed two other projects “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder.” Doctor Strange will be released by March 25th, 2022 instead of November 5th, 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder have shifted from February 18th, 2022 to Feb 11th, 2022.
Doctor Strange was supposed to release prior to the third Spider-Man movie. However, this is the first time the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been postponing releases.
