The legendary singer celebrated her birthday on November 26, posted a special video for her fans telling how happy she is about turning 80, fighting several illnesses and still feel amazing.

Tina Turner’s musical journey is celebrated as an Awesome, Legendary and Entertaining by her fans. Born as Anna Mae Bullock in the rural part of Tennessee and starting to sing in the church choir, worked as a domestic worker and a nurse’s aide, now standing tall as a legend is truly an inspiring story.

Tina who saw Ike Turner, Tina’s then-husband, perform in a night club was attracted to his voice and band happen to sing a song of his in Kings of Rhythm band and their musical bond formed instantly. From then the duo was part of many #1 hits and soon recognized as Ike and Tina Turner Revue.

Her swagger, sensuality, gravelly vocals and unstoppable energy were her trademarks and people loved Tina Turner every time she was on stage. Which made Turner return to the stage as a solo artist after her failed marriage with Ike, in 1977. She was making history as a solo artist too, an extent that Turner held Guinness World Record for the largest paid audience (180,000) for a solo performer, in 1988.
