Fans of Tom Cruise have swarmed social media to express their excitement about his latest Mission Impossible stunt. This happened after a newly leaked video of him standing steady on a nosediving biplane above South Africa went viral on Twitter. Since then fans are going abuzz about Cruise’s talent in performing his own stunts.
Cruise is holding the plane’s (which is hovering/flying above South Africa!) railing while giving an excited chat about the latest “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning: Part I” in process and Top Gun Maverick. As he continues, the film’s director and Cruise’s longtime collaborator Christopher McQuarrie joins his side in another biplane.
Just when fans think it can’t get epic enough McQuarrie jokingly tells Cruise to wrap up his talk in order to continue shooting for an MI scene before sunset. Cruise agrees, and down nose dives both the planes with him still standing, defying gravity!
While the video isn’t actually new, it is new to everyone who didn’t attend the exclusive Las Vegas Cinema Con earlier this year. Fans can expect to see Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning: Part I in theaters by 2023.
