Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson were in Australia when they were diagnosed with Covid-19. The couple was the first among Hollywood celebrities who acquired the infection. The two were self-quarantined in a rented home in Queensland.
Tom hanks has been giving regular updates on the pair’s health on social media. Recently he had tweeted that they are getting better over the days. “Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better”, the 63-year old actor had posted. “Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone – You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no”, he added.
The Oscar winner also assured his fans that the pandemic shall pass soon and that together we can combat this by helping each other.
