On November 18, Friday, the FIFA World Cup Anthem ‘Tukoh Taka’ was released. Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and Lebanese singer Myriam Fares have teamed up for the musical collaboration. For the first time, a FIFA World Cup song contains lyrics in three languages English, Spanish and Arabic, making it a historic number.
‘Tukoh Taka’ shows the three brilliant artists performing their impeccable singing parts in desert scenes. The song is launched just two days before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2022 to be held in Qatar. The sport kicks off from Nov 20 to Dec 18.
The catchy music video starts with Myriam Fares, 39, singing in Arabic along with backup dancers behind her. Maluma, 28, making his appearance next sings in Spanish, dancing in front of giant metal football in a desert zone. Followed by Nicki’s jaw-dropping performance, rapping in English and Spanish on the inside of a moving bus. She is seen in a dazzling black bodysuit and black jacket with tassels.
FIFA World Cup, being the most prestigious soccer tournament in the world allows world-renowned artists to come up with classic tracks. Ricky Martin’s ‘The Cup of Life’ from 1998 and Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka(This Time For Africa)’ are huge hits.
