Scheana Shay, the Vanderpump Rules star, has recently spoken to US Weekly about her solo parenting. She is a mother to a beautiful girl, “Summer Moon.” While she talked about handling her daughter, she said, “Even 38 years [later], my mom still worries about me and that’s just never going to end. So I accepted that part of motherhood…”

Shay has been benefitting from therapy, especially exposure therapy after she was diagnosed with OCD. However, she has been finding therapy pretty helpful in curbing her fears about solo parenting. In fact, she has recently taken Summer Moon to Disneyland by herself!

In April 2021, Shay welcomed Summer Moon. But she has been battling mental health issues even before the arrival of her daughter. She now finds therapy to be extremely useful, which helps her combat the fears she faces while bringing up her daughter.

After her trip with Summer Moon to Disneyland, Shay says she is ready to do it again! She is currently in a new chapter of motherhood, but she is able to face her fears and be confident, thanks to her therapy sessions!
