Once a successful football star for the country and for his club Chelsea is now battling grief post the demise of his wife Tanya.
The 55 yr old soccer turned now actor stated: “I’m seeing someone three times a week. I thought I was doing OK, and then the anniversaries of Tans’ death and our daughter Kaley’s birthday were approaching and it was like somebody just drained the life out of me.”
“It feels like you’re pushing a truck with no petrol from here to Manchester uphill on the M1.”
With so much frustration and pain, Vinnie added: “I’ve kind of shut myself away from close friends as well. I don’t know why.”
“I watch a movie on TV but just stare through it, I’m not taking it in.”
Vinnie’s blissful life came down tumbling in July 2019 when his beloved wife Tanya who he fondly calls as Tans passed away at 53 due to cancer.
The pair bumped into each when Vinnie took a bottle of Tizer for Tanya at a club in their hometown Watford when he was 13 and she was 12.

They met each other again in 1991 when he was the midfielder of Chelsea and Tanya was residing in the same street of Hemel Hempstead and later tied the knot in 1994.
Before marrying each other Tanya had a daughter Kaley and Vinnie had a son Aaron from their earlier marriages.
