The magic is about to begin very soon! The world is all set to witness a live-action adaptation of Disney’s Arabian folktale, Alaadin.
It was none other than Will Smith who took the first poster of the movie to Instagram on Thursday with a super-sarcastic tagline that read, “LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE! :-)“. Well, before you get into imagination, he’s the one giving voice over for the trapped Genie. Mena Massoud does the lead role while Naomi Scott plays Princess Jasmine.
This isn’t something new for the production house as the live-action adaptations of animated features such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Jungle Book, and Beauty and the Beast have already been blockbusters and some of the highest grocers of the era.
The movie is gonna be released on the 24th of May, 2019 and we’re already excited to immerse in the scents of the mystical lamp.
