Situated in the west of Asia the beautiful country of Lebanon did not escape from the deadly virus. But fortunately for the past 24 hours, they have not received any new patients affected with COVID-19.
The news was officially declared by the health department and on Tuesday it said it had no new cases. Adding to this it stated that when tested on 487 people it came negative and it remained with the last records of 677 positive cases and 21 deaths.
Lebanon has been shut down from mid of March and citizens are permitted to go out to buy medicine and food. With other businesses remaining closed they have also issued a restricted time and people are not allowed post 8 p. m to 5 a. m with armed forces securing the boundaries.
With the world tossed up and down due to the Corona pandemic crisis, Lebanon has recorded the least so far. But speculations are rife that anything can happen anytime and people across the globe are dying in fear as there is no cure for the disease and social distancing is the only way to prevent the deadly virus from spreading.
