All eyes and talk are on the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex. Harry visited the UK to attend his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral along with his royal family. This was his first visit since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex permanently moved to Los Angeles in March 2020.
According to US Weekly magazine, “Harry did speak to William while he was in the U.K., so in that respect, they made some progress, But they definitely haven’t reached the stage where all is forgiven nor have they buried the hatchet,” says the insider.
Harry was seen walking and talking to William after the service for their grandfather at St.George Chapel. “William did his best to open his body language toward his brother,” says body language expert Elaine Swann. It is said that Harry and Meghan Markle privately sent wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their 10th wedding anniversary.
“Charles is still fuming about Harry throwing shade at him and the royal family in the big interview and won’t let it drop, But to be honest, Harry didn’t go running back to Charles begging for forgiveness either. He still hasn’t forgiven his father for his lack of effort and support after he and Meghan decided to move. Harry went back to the U.K. to see the queen and pay his respects to Prince Philip. That’s about as far as it goes.” says a royal source
In the interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Megan spoke about the reason for their royal exit in early 2020. The couple spoke of a range of issues, including unsupportive treatment from other royal family members.
