Sources say that Will Smith may no longer be a part of The ‘Suicide Squad’ cast though it has not been made official yet. Will Smith played as ‘Deadshot’ in the movie. His castmates included Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Cara Delevingne, and Jared Leto.
Warner Bros. might lose one of its biggest stars with the Studio making plans for the next installment of the Suicide Squad franchise that had raked in $746 million at the Box Office.
Sources say that his schedules were the main reason why Will Smith may not return and the Studios have no ‘hard feelings’ in letting the Star go. That is so evident since he’s geared up for playing Genie from Aladdin that’s due this summer.
Warner Bros. declined to comment, and representatives of Smith are yet to release a statement on who’d be cast as Deadshot. The movie is set to release in August 2021 under James Gunn’s direction. The casting for the sequel is yet to be released.
