WWE has now made some last-minute changes in WrestleMania 36 which were quite unexpected.
Earlier it was said that Bray Wyatt was to hold on to his championship against Roman Reigns which he played in WWE’s flagship. But now the latest buzz is that John Cena might be back to the den for a match with Elias which is quite disappointing.
Besides two of the most awaited matches in the SmackDown are now called off.
As per the expertise Dave Meltzer there might be a match against Roman vs. Bray and Elias vs. John Cena.
Here are a few possibilities of wrestlers competing against each other.
- Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE Universal Championship)
- Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (NXT Women’s Championship)
- Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler (RAW Women’s Championship)
- Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship)
- Bayley vs. Naomi (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)
- Andrade vs. Humberto Carrillo (WWE United States Championship)
- Edge vs. Randy Orton
- John Cena vs. Elias
- The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
Further, Cena did not have the opportunity to fight in 2019, so it might be fingers crossed scenario as who will be his opponent as Elias is not confirmed. There have been speculations that Roman might be the opponent against Cena. Since there is no official confirmation on the changes yet let’s hope for the best to happen.
