Zac Brown the lead vocalist of the Brown Band has sued Ryan Tedder of One Republic for using his song “Nowhere Left To Go.”
As per sources, Zac says that he had initially worked with Ryan for his upcoming “solo studio album” which he later gave the right to record producer Diplo. But as of Brown, he has stated that Ryan’s attorney sent him a notice which had ended him losing a large sum of royalty.
Further, as per the notice, it said that Zac gave his song with the thought it would be implemented or combined in a new song that will have write or co-write it.
Ultimately, the two began creating the song “Nowhere Left To Go,” alongside music engineers. Besides, Zac says that it was made with a deal that he would have complete access and control on what has to be added to the song.
Though Zac Brown was working on the song for days together he was unable to reach Ryan several times. He had completed the song and had sent over when he found out that it turned out to be another version that was done by Diplo.
He also said that Tedd’s manager had reached to Zac’s administration asking them not to release it before Diplo.
But Zac, in turn, released his single which created a rift between the two.
